High-Voltage Operation Responsibility

As the responsible operating engineer for your high-voltage facility, we follow the installation, plan maintenance and testing needs, and supervise interventions during faults.

Facilities with their own transformer substation or high-voltage supply need an electrical engineer who is responsible for the technical operation of the installation. The responsible engineer works with the facility to keep it operating safely, carry out switching correctly and meet maintenance and testing needs on time.

At Özermudo Mühendislik we carry out operation responsibility by knowing your facility on site, not only on paper. Observations, completed work and recommendations from each visit are recorded, and the required maintenance, measurement or repair work is planned together with you.

Scope

  • Following up the safety measures required in the facility and reporting shortcomings to the owner
  • Supervising interventions during faults and carrying out the necessary switching operations
  • Identifying periodic testing, measurement and maintenance needs and following up their completion
  • Checking the occupational safety equipment that must be kept in the facility
  • Reporting completed work, observations and recommendations to the owner
  • Electrical assessment support for capacity increases or facility changes

How we work

  1. 1

    Initial meeting and facility data

We review basic information together: transformer rating, supply arrangement, existing drawings and previous maintenance and test records.

  2. 2

    Site survey

We inspect the facility on site and note the condition of the switchgear cells, transformer, LV distribution and safety equipment.

  3. 3

    Quotation and contract

We define the scope according to the size and needs of the facility and prepare a quotation. The contract process follows the applicable regulations.

  4. 4

    Regular follow-up and reporting

We keep records of visits, checks and interventions, and report the identified needs to the owner in order of priority.

The definition of operation responsibility and the obligations of the parties are set out in the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) regulation on operation responsibility for high-voltage installations in Türkiye. The scope and contract conditions are confirmed for each facility according to the regulations in force.
